As you can see from the gap in tips on this blog, I’ve had trouble following my own advice this winter. Sometimes stuff just gets in the way and no matter how hard you try you just can’t find the time or the creative energy to work on your book project.
Don’t get discouraged and quit. As soon as things slow down a bit, take a look at your calendar and reschedule. If the time you originally planned for writing isn’t working, look for another time.
January just didn’t work for me and I got behind on my schedule for my next book, “Sell Your Book! Think Outside the Bookstore.” But I’m back on track now. While I had planned to have my book published by March, it looks like it will be delayed until May. But two months late is better than not finishing at all!
So if you’ve had trouble scheduling writing time this winter, don’t get disheartened; just keep writing. If you need encouragement, check this blog on a regular basis. Lorette and I will keep you posted on how each of us is coming on our own book projects.
